Please, please, please make sure that you have all the necessary rights before uploading a video, or make sure that the video can't hurt any rights.

A new Record is signed in MyeTV history: 32.058.008 of visit in a month.
It's a huge number for us! The National and International Ranking positions are growing up like crazy.

We update the bottom toolbar:

- The Friendlist and the MessageBox is open by clicking it and not by put the mouse over.
- You can close the friendlist and the MessageBox by clicking again on the icon or clicking on the _ icon at the top.
- You can go to the respective page by clicking on "Show All" at the top of the Friendlist and MessageBox.
- Fixed a bug position in FireFox that open the Friendlist and the MessageBox over the toolbar.
- Security update for "blocked" or "deleted" friends (you cannot send messages to blocked friends).
- Security update for "Add a friend" feature; the added friend need to accept the friendly before it will show on your friendlist.
- Notification by email will be added.

mmmh...
I'm really sicked and tired and pissed off... This fast-cgi don't change anythings... I think the problem is in the xmoov script it's not builded for a huge traffic like ours. I think that tonight or tomorrow if the buffer bug persist i will delete the xmoov script from the server and the possibility to seek the non downloaded part of the video. Maybe we will configure the RED5 rtmp webserver (just installed on the server for the livestreaming applications) for the flv files and let the possibility to seek the video in the future. We just know what the problem is with xmoov script but there is no possible to fix it because it will cause when the server have an huge ammount of traffic and it's inevitable. So... This probably is the last night that you can seek the video in the non downloaded parts, but the load of the video will be much and much fastest and without buffer.

We installed the FastCGI insted of the normal CGI to optimizing the buffer processes of the videos and of the PHP scripts.
Now it seems to be more fast and the performance of the server is better.

After some trouble with our internal statistic software (now deactivated), we implement from today the Google(tm) Analytics Code to track the information about our users; the Google Analytics is a statistic software to study the trends of a website in terms of access/usage/marketing.

The Homepage for the logged users has changed a little; we add a new tab called "MyFriends New Videos" that show all the new videos added by one of you friends actually in your friendlist. Because it is in your friendlist, you can see all the videos of your friends (private, public, payperviews and/or live streaming).
This new feature will be better in the days that comes; for now it will show 5 videos of a random friend in your friendlist; every refresh of the page it can took another friend in your friendlist.

We found a bug in the new xmoov server... The load of the video of a huge dimension can freeze after some downloaded parts; to bypass that it's necessary scrub the controlbar ahead to another position.
We will think about that problem in these days, if we don't find any solution we will turn back to the normal download streaming server and try to configure our Red5 OpenSource server for full RTMP streaming.

- Solved a bug called "memory leak" in the php settings for the xmoov streaming server; this bug consuming physical memory on the server and can't let the server streaming for good. Some fix have been made.

- changed the CGItimeout from 300 (5minutes) to 10000 (nearly 3 hours)

it's seems to work successfull. Let we see.

- updated the conversion page with the FLVMDI or YAMDI flv metadata injector
if FLV file size is < of 900MB then

Metadata is successfull injected. OK

- updated play page with xmoov script server side

Huge File play for 10 minutes and then buffered and never played again... seems to be freezed but when we seek on the non downloadable parts, it will be played again for 10 minutes and then loop again with freeze KO

We trying to fix this error soon.
Maybe we need to reboot the webserver to applying the php.ini changes.

We recently found some codeBug in some section of the MyeTV's friendlist and messagebox and it will be fixed soon:
Just fixed:
- You cannot send a eTVMail/istant message to a person not added in your friendlist (only the Staff can do that for some specify reason)
- Notification by email it's send whenever you send a message to a user in your friendlist.

Will be fixed:
- Confirm the friendly by the user added in your friendlist; when you add a user in your friendlist the user must to confirm the friendly.
- Notification by email of friendly added and/or confirmed.
- Section for the Sent Message it will be out soon

From today we SHUT DOWN the log server; from today we don't have any logs of the anonymous or not registered users, things such ip, OS or date of connection of unregistered or anonymous users aren't saved on our servers.
We will log only for advertising services, registered users (but NOT the ip) and or others services that require a minimal log for run correctly or security reasons. All usage statistics on ours servers are deleted.
This increments performance and assure the anonimate on the navigation of MyeTV site.

We leave the xmoov streaming server, cause we find some bug on it and we decide to configure our Red5 server in the near future. xmoov server can't support all of our users at the same time, that have a performace bug in our operating system. So, Stay Tuned!

We will implement new feature in the next few months.
The Upload Manager will come to the MyeTV Upload page as alternative to the standard upload; this manager is written in Java and allow you to upload a file using FTP protocoll, with resume and the possibility to multi-upload.
The Upload Manager is written in Java so this is why the standard upload, in HTML, will be available also without the computer without Java installed; so the Upload Manager will be the new way to upload but not an only one.
You can chose if upload with the standard upload or with the Java upload manager.

The Upload Manager will be in alpha-testing for the users that want to try it first; after 30 days of testing it will be out in the closed beta. Let us know if you want to try it out, anyways when it will be avaiable we will let you know with a banner in the homepage and in this forums.
